I offer gym based or in-home personal training sessions, REALFit Group Training Sessions and Woman's Mountain Biking Skills Workshops.
I have worked as a Personal Trainer since 2013; initially as a Tribe Team Trainer at Alpine Health & Fitness, then running my own mobile personal training business as well. My personal fitness philosophy is that everybody has the potential to become fit and healthy, and that with the right tools, guidance and discipline each individual can realize this potential. I like to go the extra mile for my clients; my skills in communication and motivation in the fitness arena are enhanced by my life experiences. I am able to understand how a client’s life history affects their health and fitness potential.
I am a very keen skier and mountain biker and I have represented New Zealand in mountain biking in my younger days. More recently I have developed a passion for multi-sport type events, and the discipline required to train for the different disciplines(kayaking, cycling & running) has given me a determination and focus to overcome any boundary or obstacle; in life and in fitness! My other interests are weight training, boxing (for fitness) and pilates to gain a good all round balance and focus on the different components of Strength, Power, Cardio and Flexibility. I believe all these areas must be targeted in training and I aim to do so in my own training, and training philosophy.
I have experience in one-to-one training, small & large group training and over 60’s. I enjoy working with clients towards weight loss, toning, and general cardiovascular fitness.
